The 12.5 trick allow you to erase all the pre instaled stuff al your SE like images, sounds, themes and games that you cant delete by the normal way!!!
But with my friend's phone it didnt work!!!!

Are you sure You're using the correct full reset came not the soft reset?

Actually..... my predefs are pretty sturdy too!
I started out with 13 sec, followed by 12,5 sec, followed by 10 sec, followed by 5 sec, followed by more 5 sec....... and am still stuck with 5 b/w predef pics that just WILL NOT go away! No matter what I do.
Erm..... someone suggested not so long ago then rather than doing any x-second-trick, you run a full master reset, sstart up the phone and IMMEDIATELY go into phone memory to start deleting predefs BEFORE THEY LOAD. He says it works..... I meant to try this but haven't gotten around to it yet. If you're desperate, I'd say give that a shot and see how far you get that way.
Oh and DO let me in on the results!

I tried that one you mentioned v, never worked. That's when i moved onto the 13. . . Well 10 second trick. The only thing that stayed were the pesky mms templates, all 130k of them. Grrrr. . . .

My friends phone do the same. Didn't know why. Tried all the tricks but didn't work. I did it with 3 t300, and the trick worked on my and another friends phone. All had the same firmware.

there is supposed to be another method, whereby, since when ur phone is reset, you need to access the 'my pictures' menu to let the pics load, u can always, after a master reset, throw lots big sized pics into the phone without opening my pictures, and compose melodies until the phone has ABSOLUTELY no memory (which means it cant load the pics). then, go into the mms menu and try to add the predefined pics into a mms. its supposed to say, cant open file and ask u if u want to delete the pic. or it might just show up as a 'x' whereby from there u can delete the items.
i havent tried this, as i think it takes too long, and i dun think u can remove the sounds, only themes, pics, and templates. |

well....... next time I suffer a major gprs crash and it's time to reset... i'll be sure to try that.
Will report back later.
And yeah maybe this thread oughta be renamed
JB on a T610 it's no use doing any sort of x-second-trick as most predefs can be deleted anyway. You can only harm your phone.
