My T610 is only showing a blue screen when I turn it on |

I was surfing the net when suddenly the phone turned itself off. It wouldnt let me turn it back on so I took the battery out and put it back in. I turned it on but it now only comes up with a blank blue screen. i.e. it is like the software does not want to load. The battery still has heaps of juice in it-hence the blue screen coming up still.
When I plug the charger in it doesnt even come up with the charging symbol when the phone is off. Has anyone had this problem before?
I have only had the phone for a month so it is pretty gutting. |

You should probably take it to service center for check up

i had the same problem the other night... i just had a blue screen and it was froze.. i couldn't even turn the phone off....i just took the battery out and turned it back on...still just the blue screen...after a couple of times of removing the battery the problem was solved....working fine now...
try removing the battery a couple of times and wait a few seconds each time...it worked for me..
....it's all good.... |

yeah this has happened to me a few times too. always after the phone has not been shut down properly (eg smashed on floor!) you just have to wait for a few mins after you switch it back on - it always sorts its self out. |

Sorry to bring up a dead topic, but have we seen any more of this since this post?
I was doing the same thing as the initial poster - was browsing the web, it all of a sudden turned off, and now all I get is a blue screen when I turn it on. Battery's about half charged.
If the SIM card is IN:
-Turning the phone on gets a blue screen and then eventually it turns off and will not turn back on without popping out the battery
-Whether the phone is on or off, connecting the charger has no discernable effect other than briefly lighting the red joystick light when the phone is off.
If the SIM card is OUT:
-Turning on the phone brings it to the blue screen, then to an hourglass that just stays there
-If the phone is off, connecting the charger will turn it "on" (i.e. "charging only" mode) and show it charging
I have tried the SIM card in my T68i and it appears to work fine, so I don't think it's a bad SIM. The SIM from the T68i causes the same difference in effects as in the list above.
Any ideas? Like the original poster, I've only had this phone for a month

Did you change your T610's OS to Windows?
Blue screen it's known to be a Microsoft "feature".
Sorry, can't help you...

LOL, I couldn't help but think of the irony of being in an MCSE training course (at the moment) and having my phone give a Blue Screen of Death. I'm pissed though! I hadn't synced my contacts to the SIM since I bluetoothed them over from the T68i. If the phone's dead, I lose all my numbers x.x |
