Can this be implemented? How come my friends' 3650 can do this? When he goes to class, he's profile auto switches...I think this is a cool feature.

The Nokia 3650/7650 and P800 are Symbian based which gives programmers a lot of space to play with. The T610 only has Java and that too restircted in a "sandbox" - thereoteically, it maybe possible to create a miniGPS kind of program for the T610 as well, but at the moment, any program running in Java is not allwoed any interaction with the radio functions of the phone.

Too bad...anyway, T610 is still a good "mobile phone" Thanks for the info.

Actually I think you are talking about miniGPS which is available for the P800 and the 3650 etc (i.e. symbian phones)
This is not a GPS in the normal sense, its a program that picks up cell info and you can program alarms, profile changes etc based on being near a certain cell (as I understand it).
This almost certainly won#t be available for phones with normal operating systems, only for those like symbian OS.
