7210 better than T68? |

I hadn't really heard much about the Nokia 7210, but read somewhere today that it's being released as soon as May in the UK. Having a look at its specifications on the Nokia website, I must say i was quite impressed! Much higher colour resolution than the T68, polygraphic ringtones, plus lots of other features. It looks like direct competition to the T68. Is anybody here thinking of changing to the Nokia? I'd welcome your comments, and the opinions of anybody who has used the 7210 first hand, as I'm the sort of guy who always likes to have the latest and best things, and I might just be tempted! |

It is better than T68m and T68i since it is a newer phone and it is supposed to be better.... But don't be comfused...... Don't compare a future NOKIA phone with T68m which is 5 months old.....
Compare Nokia 7210 with SonyEricsson Z700 & SonyEricsson P800

and what about the T68m when it is upgraded to become identical to the T68i- a phone which is being released in the Uk at the same time as the 7210? |

No bluetooth, unfortunately!! That feels like a bummer for me, using my HBH-15 with my T68m, I want to be able to do that with my next phone too. So no Nokia 7210 for me, even though I admit I like the design!!
But for those of you who don't need bluetooth, the 7210 looks like a nice phone. And another thing, no e-mail client. That's A REAL mistake from Nokia, a mail-client is very useful for many people. I'm a real fan of having it!
And does 7210 have wap 2.0 with xHtml??

If you gather all the features of T68m and T68i you still can't compare them with the support of Polyphonic melodies....bigger resolution....!!!!AND!!! JAVA support.....
JAVA : You will be able to upload you favorite JAVA games on your mobile.....
I have a T68m and I think that the only disadvantage of 7210 is the design of the keyboard which is not sms-friendly

I have a SL45 upgraded to the "i" model, which supports Java, and yes I can play snake on it now. And have a slllooowww mail-client.. But it's nothing impressive (yet).

Well, how can you compare two phones one of which you think might be better while it lacks Bluetooth...
Hence my question...
No offense...

I find the phone really ugly looking. The keyboard just plain sucks...
Besides that, it's not even Tri-band, now is it (No use to me if it's not Tri-band, just look where I live, hehe)? Without bluetooth and Tri-band, I don't see a future for this phone unless they are trying to target younger Euro/Asian people.
The only phone I can see that would compete with the T68 is the Nokia 7650, but still lacking some major important features...

How can you say the keyboard sucks? Have you tried it? Even though it looks different than usual phones, I can't really say anything other than the keys of T68m's suck too (the T68i is better)!! |

Lol..
I own the SE P800, it's a wonderful phone, beats the Nokia 7650 which I previously owned (in my head).

Ehrm... Deltayoda, I have to correct you. According to this website http://www.nokia.com/phones/7210/index.html this is a triband phone.

Doh, didn't see that!
I stand corrected...
Now that I saw that, I do find a use for it...
