I know this question has been asked many times in this forum but I would like to ask for the latest update.
Which USB Bluetooth has everyone found is the very best for the T610.
I plan to use it for:
1) Adding and taking off pictures
2) Adding notes and plans to my phone so I know my daily things to do
3) Go on internet by using this phone
4) Arranging my address book more detail and clear
If there are more things I could do please let me know.
I plan to use this phone like a PDA if possible.
Thank you for everyone's help.

Because most people will only have used one bluetooth adaptor (i.e. the own they own) it'll be very hard to get an answer as to which is the best. We just have no basis for comparison.
Bluetooth is a standardised protocol, so any USB adaptor you pick should work with your phone to some extent. The only question is what Bluetooth services the software can use. From what I have picked up in these forums, Bluetooth adaptors don't go by the common theory of "you get what you pay for"! Many people (myself included) have bought the cheapest adaptor they can get their hands on and it has worked perfectly, however Microsoft adaptors in particlar have very limited service support.
I own ebuyer.com's cheapest non-branded dongle and it supports all the features that phone does (and more besides probably). If I were you I'd go onto the manufacturer's website for whichever ones you are looking at where I'd expect it to tell you what services it supports. In particular you need to look for the services: File transfer, Syncronization, Object push and Dial-up.
Other than that, you should do a few searches in this forum. Like you said, this is a question that's been asked a lot and people will be reluctant to answer it again here. |

I've used 2 different bluetooth dongles. One made by Trust, and one made by MSI. They both use the same software (1.3.2.7), and contain the same features and the same bugs... I can't say I've seen any difference in performance, or in price...
One thing you might want to watch out is driver versions. Some manufacturers are very slow to update their drivers, even now you can find some dongles which still don't ship with the 1.3.2.7 drivers. 1.3.2.7 is the version you need to support all the phone features. So, my advice to you is to check the support pages for the manufacturer of the dongle you are planning to buy, to make sure they have 1.3.2.7 drivers available.

I personally have the MSI PC2PC Bluetooth dongle (6967) and it works perfectly fine. I plan on purchasing another and networking two pcs via bluetooth in the near future.
I bought it from savastore.com for £25+del.
The problem with the cheapest dongles is that they can have crap drivers supplied with it and as far as i know, Microsoft has yet to release generic bluetooth drivers.
I would highly recommend the MSI dongle.

Or get the MSI Btoes, also from savastore, it's only around £18 including delivery and works perfectly with the T610 |

MSI Btoes, that's the most recent one I got. Satisfied with it so far.

Thank you everyone for your help. I guess the MSI is a very popular one to use. I was thinking of the Belkin Wireless Bluetooth # F8T001. Have anyone tried this one yet? Anything good or better or worse about this one?
What are some features people have tried BT with T610 and would like to share to the rest of us.
Thank you again for everyone's help and looking for of using my T610 like a PDA.
Or am I just dreaming?

i have the old belkin (shark fin) on my PC.. and it works great.. i just had to use widcom software.. i also installed the new Belkin adapter on a freinds pc and thought it was great.. easy to use and seems to be a hell of a lot quicker than mine.. and it was very cheap.. so far i tested objex transfer and push to and from , a PPC, two T610's and my Clie NX70v, also linked up the Jabra BT headset to replace headphones and mic, and they all worked flawlessley, dialup networking was a pain for my clie.but i did get it working. but the PPC was very fast and easy to set up..and did i say it was only $30! hehe.. |

I just noticed that my new bluetooth dongle (MSI Btoes) has a firmware upgrade function. My other dongle (trust) doesn't have that...
