Hi guys n' gals!
I'm in the midst of choosing a new phone but the prob. is that there are quite a few that look interesting to me! So I'd need some help in getting the pros and cons about these phones. Could yu help me?
These are the phones:
Nokia 6220
Nokia 6600
Nokia 7600
Samsung SGH-E700
Sharp GX-20
Siemens ST55
Cheers!

good luck henkan, this is the "Nokia haters-land" you're at. I'm not familiar with the Siemens nor the Samsung so I can't help you there. Try checking the mobile phones section.

@Henkan, Yes, you are correct, those phones ARE INDEED for people who can't make decisions for themselves.

have a look here
I just picked 3 out of your list.
Personally, I quite fancy the samsung one.....
Try finding a site where you can compare all of them and then juts look what features matter most to you.
Good luck

@Patchy: Que?
@Vlammje: Thanks man, yeah the Samsung does look nice... But i wonder about the menu system...! I really like the 6600 exept for the size though... It's a tough call! And by the way, I thought the 6220 had video recorder?? Also the GX-20 looksway cool, but i can't find a swedish retailer!!
@The guy above this post: Well... I do like the Z600, but if i had added it to the list i'd be run down with posters raving about it 'cause this is esato! So I didn't... The T610 is okay, but it's to old. And after seeing pics of the "T620" I've given up on the T6 series for now!
(Ps. I still use my T68i and my R380 so i'm in no way a hater, quite the opposite...! But I'm not narrowminded. Ds.)
edit: Spell check!

Well... in my view Nokia phones are average at best and will probably be ok.
My advice is to stay away from Samsung phones cause they are crap. Sure they have nice screens and good poly-tones, but the menu-system is horrible, the phone functions are crippled (Nokia phones are like this to.. but the Samsungs are even worse). Also battery performance on the Samsungs are not very good. Trust me you'll be very disaapointed with a Samsung.
Sure the choice is up to you, but I'd most definately go for the T610 or Z600 if I were you or if you want a Symbina based phone go for P800 or P900 which will soon be out. |

Yeah, I think it looks nice actually...! N' I don't care about not being able to make a videocall 'cause I have yet to get to know a single person who owns a 3G phone!

I would recommend the Samsung. Unlike someone else here I like the menus and it's fast. They also have very good RF and speech/sound quality.
But this is NOT the right forum to ask questions about other manufactures. There are several very good forums where you will get better answers |

Maybe get the MOST expensive one, then tell us if it's the best.
Can you REALLY imagine Arny as President of the US
