Hey guys,

I have searched the forum but couldn't get the info I
want satisfactorily. Basically, I need advice on purchasing
either HBH35 or 60. The everlasting battery on HBH35 is
already well-known. How about the voice clarity at noisy places? Have anyone compared between the two? I will use it primarily in the
car.

How about range? Do they suffer from the popular symptom whereby having ur headset on ur right ear and ur phone on ur left pocket will cause crackling/distortion?

Ur advise appreciated. Thx!

@Mooncake, I use a P800 with the HBH-60 and I haven't encountered the crackling noise even with the phone in my bag. However, I've had some occasions wherein it took a while for the phone to recognize my voice when voice dialling in loud and "not so" loud areas.

@ethan_j, welcome. Seems you just posted a message. You may want to use the button to find some links besides the T68i items in esato. You might want to try wapster.nu too.

Hi,

I've used both the headsets briefly.

I had initially bought a HBH-60 for use with the T610. There was quite a bit of crackle initially but somehow the crackle went away after about 1 day. However, its very difficult to use in the streets or loud environments. In the end I got rid of it.

About a month ago, I managed to get hold of a HBH-35 for a short test (before I could buy it). Its slightly better in terms of usage in loud environments and outdoors than the HBH-60 but the length of the boom was too much for me to digest. In fact I missed the HBH-60 in spite of its problems. The 35's battery life is amazing though.

If you don't mind the extra length then HBH-35 is the best choice but the HBH-60 is equally good and much classier and stylish.

Also, have you heard about the HBH-65 ? Its just been released by ... might be worth checking out

I've moved from the hbh-30 to the chameleon to the hbh-60. i just bought it - so i really haven't tested it out yet.

my first concern was whether the volume would be loud enough. the hbh-60 'rests' outside of the ear while the chameleon and hbh-30 stick more into the ear canal. haven't had the chance to really play with it (i just wanted to pair it and charge it) but it seems that the hbh-60 sounds very nice.

not sure about the quality of the mic. the person i called said that there was an echo and she could hear her own voice...

I have the hbh-35, and it's great. The mic is sensitive enough that people can here me when I whisper. \The earloop is made of rubber similar to that on oakley sunglasses, which helps keep vertical boom position. And the battery provides weight to keep the headset on your ear. As for the "earpiece", it was a problem at first when wearing it in ear, but I found if I angled the boom closer to my face the earpiece sits more on the ear than in it.

Great headest, but the best advice is to try before you buy. FInd a store with a good selection, or visit multiple stores.
