Novice help: IR connection for Mypictures with t68 |

Hi,.
I have a Dell Inspiron 3000, and i have enabled the IR port in the bios.
All drivers that i am aware of are installed.
I have grabbed mypictures from SE, and MPM is installed as well.
When i try to go the MPM options in control panal(im running win 95), it wont open.
SO, when i get a picture in Myphoto software, i press to send to the photo, and it says loking for phone, but thats it, no furhter.
I have got the IR port 'on' in the t68.
Any clues.
Im in the uk, anyone suply me with a data cable fot t68, cos i need on for my other pc without IR.

what speed have you set the IR port on your computer to? try to set it at a low speed... for example 9600bps

How long have u left it for?
Mine wouldnt connect either so i left it for a couple of minutes and eventually it said 'Connected to T68'.
Try leaving it for a couple of minutes |

i didnt setthe t68 to receive pictures.
works a treat.
