Is it just me or in a way does that look like a metal tv remote?
Anyway seriously what is the point in a gold fone. someone would just nick it. That must be very expensive coz it is an 'instrument' not a mobile fone.

IN my opinion: New vertu mobile fone

I think that Vertu is a great design and a good marketing idea. The phone itself looks as if it's designed for men only... women usually like smoother lines. But maybe it'll be mostly men buying those... women aren't usually as stupid as we men ;-).

How much does it cost? And will I be able to use it in a parking lot without getting clubbed in the back of the head?

Guess it's one of those phones you shouldn't carry around in the parking lot or as a tourist

Although, the guy that steals it from you is going to enjoy the new car he buys with it

The Stainless steel / Yellow gold combination is quite elegant.

Though, I think it looks somehow like a TV remote control at first sight

The evolutionary technology is quite a smart idea!
Nokia invented the snap-on covers for low end mobile phones.
They now just came up -via Vertu- with the snap-in technology. And this does make sense!

except for the design the phone has nothing! no wap, GPRS, no colour schreen, no bluetooth or IRDA, no EMS MMS, and is so heavy because of the shell. and it will cost a fortune. you can buy one of these or about 20 T68i.
