Twist your brains for me. |

As some of you might have noticed I'm in a funny mood these days. I give things away for free... Now, I've got a few more things to get rid off so I need you to twist your brains for me and come up with some, serious please, ideas to rules for my give-away-games. I would like comments on how you found the two first games as well please. Do you think they were fair? One of my thought behind these games are that nobody knows when they start and what the prize will be next time. This is to make it more exiting to stay logged on to Esato, never knowing if you actually might suddenly find yourself in a competition to win something. Anyway, comments please? And remember, the next game might be tomorrow and only I know what the prize is...

I found them both very much fun to the extent I stopped everything else I was doing!
Definitly keep it all a mystery as to when it will start etc.
With the second game I searched everywhere on Esato and even some google searches to see if I could find even a pic of you to try and guess the height and weight but to no avail. I even found a norweigan group called tranquil http://www.tranquil.no/
Maybe next time there could be something that can be found with the search?
I think the second one would be perceived as possibly fairer than the first since it was all open but it would only be a problem for people who doubt your integrity so I wouldn't worry about that.
keep up thid great fun!
cheers!

The games are pretty fair. But I guess my one complaint if it is one at all, is that since I'm a 56ker at work refreshing the page everytime takes like forever but it's alright I don't really mind about that. Maybe the next game could be a question related to mobiles rather then you in specific, because this is a forum for mobiles. Besides that, I think it's great what you're doing for the forum.

too easy...
The car is a convertible; the top was down. The murderer shot him and then dropped the gun into the back seat of the car.

i thought that both competitions were fair, and i think that they are an excellent idea.

Someone was in the car with him and shot him? He was already dead
to begin with?
or...
(Shot in the dark)
He was masturbating and it wasnt a gun that was fired it was his p**is and it was a c*mshot. Ahh this one is too far fetched.

I have been considering mobile related and searcable answers. I think both are potentially unfair. This forum contain members who just got their first mobile phone, all the way up to people who actually develop the next generation mobile phones. Searchable questions might be something to consider but here as well the fairness are potentionally quesionable. Some members might only just got their first PC whilst others are wizzards behind the keyboard. Do you see my point? Anyone, at any level of knowledge or skill, ought to have the same fair oppertunity to win. Keep it comming, I'll go throug your suggestions tomorrow. Thanks everybody.

Simple Nth post in a topic games are always fun, prizes make it more so. Or make it even tougher with a 7 day Nth post contest. You post a topic with the point winning post number. Whoever gets that number gets 10 points, the above and below post gets 5, you get a deduction for back to back posts in the winning post number and the points in to the person before. 7 of these at random times through the week and the highest scores wins the prize. Easy. . . . . . . .

i think the height/weight one was great fun.. somethign along the lines of what no one will know about.. date of birth etc..
gotta be fair for everyone though.. not something regional-based or knowledge based...
would be cool to do a "pink the number im thinking of"
obviously write it in word or something, and take a screenshot
