I use Eric T610 & Nokia Cark112 Bluetooth Handsfree and have strange problems: my opponent hear all, that he talk to me (very loud echo or something like that). Before T610 i use Nokia 6310 & Siemens S55 and all was OK. Help! |

Here is SE answer:
Dear Mr Ivchenko,
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Customer Care Center.
HCA-20 and HCB-30 are the car kits compatible with T610. To be able to use HCA-20 with your phone, separately sold System cable HCC-20 and Car Holder HCH-33 needs to be added.
Best regards,
Oxana Kraft

Yeah, I've got a Nokia CARK 112 and i've got the same problem with my T610 and my T68i. They pair fine and work really well in all other ways, but the echo cancellation doesn't work and, as you say, the caller hears their voice echoed back to them. Of course, this doesn't matter with the Nokia headset because you don't need echo cancellation with headsets.
Unfortunately it looks to me like they're just not 100% compatible, Nokia and SE must implement echo cancellation differently. Unless either of them fix the compatibility in a firmware upgrade I guess the only real solution is to go back to a Nokia handset or replace the carkit with a universally compatible one like the Parrot. |

I've got a new T610 and am trying to use my Nokia HDW-2 BT headset. The microphone works but other than the ringing tone the speaker in the earpiece does not transmit speech from the phone. Also it wont auto answer. Has anyone who has had success with this setup got any ideas please? I know that Sony ericcson say use one of their's but i dont want to buy another headset unnecessarily. |

@orn8two
I believe the auto answer feature only works with wired headsets.
You could of course use the voice controlled answer and reject functions for handling an incoming call too.

Thanks a lot pzboyz. The headset has recovered by fully charging and then rebooting but you are right- the autoanswer doesnt work. I am frightened of the voice commands because on my wife's P800 it really drains the battery,
