The back cover doesn't look too bad so, without knowing what the text says, I would suspect the owner was not hurt.

To cut it short...
She (Yes, she is the owner... ) left her phone in her hand bag over night and when she found it the day after it was all burnt up, as some of the content of her purce. Luckily the hand bag was closed so the flames died out.
She say she normally use the phone as an alarmclock in the mornings but this spesific evening she forgot to put it on her bed side table.
All in all she was lucky, she could have ended up with her house on fire whils sleeping.
