I was wondering how you are able to send pics out from your phone, but not using GPRS? I use dial-up to get on the net with my phone, so it seems like I can't send out any kind of MMS. Does anybody know what settings to change so that I'm able to send out MMS? Thanks. |

Cingular is going to launch MMS on the 1st of October. And you do need GPRS to send pictures via Photo Messaging or MMS. Hope this helps. |

You will have to have GPRS in order to send MMS. You can get the pay per use version for free. MMS will not use bytes when sending, but, again, will require GPRS. I got it on my demo line, works pretty well. If sending to someone who does not have MMS, whether phone or just no feature code, they get a text message giving them a web address and message ID.
PS> anyone who gets MMS and, when sending, see's the phone trying to use wap rather then GPRS, will need to get a new sim. Store should give for free. Dialing up means that MMS did not attach to the sim. |
