 | IT's not so bad to tell a person to "use the search". I think it's better than telling him the answer and let him think that this is the way we do things (ask first, think after).
NO ONE get offended please. I'm just trying to tell how (I think) this should work.

 | HOW MANY TIMES Blue?
It does work! It seems that you have stocked up on 128 Duos and wont accept the truth! Even because that one person says he got a corrupted screen I have gotten a corrupted screen with a 16 MB duo so that doesnt mean diddly! OK? I have seen it working and in action so what more do you want? Even in the latest white paper it doesnt mention the 128 MB limit!

 | The reason people ask this a lot is because when ever anyone does ask about something in this case a 256 MSD it takes zbout 10 posts before anyone give a proper answer instead of posting smart remarks like the 2gig duo or use the search if you dont want to read or b involved in a thread dont post it pisses me off
when you use the search looking for these topics eg 256msd most finds are just people being smart so the user doesnt read down to the one post that gives a decent reply

this is what forums are for Building info on our subject P800 not building info databases filled with stupid replies, oh ium so much better than you as i know the answer tho these questions already,

if you dont like a thread Pi$$ of to smug.com or be helpfull

 | Just for your information,
If you go to the Sony Style web (http://shop.sonystyle-europe.com) and then to your country's section (it worked at least for UK and France) you will see a :
 256 Memory Stick PRO Duo(TM), MSX-M256A
for sale @ 100 UKP (or 116 EUR)

It does'nt tell if it works with the P800, but it's worth asking sonyericsson considering the price compared with the 100 USD priced 128 Mb memorystick I saw in several threads.

This guy Blue clearly has motive behind his campaign that the DuoPro doesn't work with P800. He probably still have a lot of the 128MB White Duo for ebay and the price is coming down. Seems like a panicking campaign.

 | The problem is that you WANT to believe it works....
SE says 'NO', and somene who is reliable did test it and it doesn't works.
This is for me and for a lot of people here the only thing we know, and the only thing we will believe in till someone can SHOW us the opposite...

If you know that 128mb allready slow down the P800 a lot, what will it be with 512... a 386 with 16mb and XP? lolllllll
