I bought a T610 2 weeks ago on Orange Uk and i checked the secret menu '>*<<*<*' and found the part with the padlocks. If they are all unlocked with 5's written after them does this mean that i would be able to put in another sim card from another network.

what you describe suggests your T610 is unlocked and therefore, yes, you can use it with any sim.

Mine all has 5's aswel. But the network one is locked

Orange Slovakia is selling non locked phones too. But that wasn't always so.
