Do any of you have any experience renting mobile phone (with data preferably) equipment in Japan? Any help would be appreciated! deafen Joined: Aug 03, 2003 Posts: 0 PM Posted: 2003-09-24 14:42 renting is expensive and its going to be difficult to find a place to rent from. stop in a convenience store, grab a prepaid mobile for about 5000yen and a card with call credits for 3000yen and there you go. cheapest is tuka but be careful that you are getting a phone with english because alot of the prepaid phones are japanese only.
