Hi. I'm having some problem installing Ericsson Communications Suite package 1, 3 and 4(only one at the time), both R3A and R4A. The problem is that it says that the Setup is not complete and that i need to restart Windows and then run the Setup program again. But if i do that, the whole installation restarts, installing everything again, and the same message telling me to restart windows and then run the Setup program again...

And the "Ericsson Communications Suite" never gets registered as installed, only xtndconnect.

Have anyone else experienced this? I am running Windows XP SP1 and have Office XP installed.

Welcome to Esato!
Have you tried downloading and installing Pack1_1.5.7.exe from Global Support pages?

You can also download WinRAR, use it to extract the Package .exe file, and install the Mobile Phone Monitor manually (anubis.exe I believe)

Yes, that was the first thing i did (before trying R3A and R4A). But it didn't work either. Ok, the installation went fine, but when i tried to synchronize xtndconnect didn't find the phone.

But now i have tried it again. And it seems to work all the time. And i think i have come up with a solution. The first time mobile phone monitor needs to find the phone the bluetooth serial port connection has to be enabled *before* the com port is enabled in mobile phone monitor. After that the bluetooth serial port establishes automatically every time i do a synchronize from outlook or the systray.

So, thanks for the tip, it maked me try that one again, i probably wouldn't have if you didn't told me
