Just wondering, coz to be honest I have seen everybody here to be a SE- fan !! I dont think Nokia was that bad untill i became a member of Esato  |

I believe it was set up as a MAINLY  focussed site (look around!!) however it's not sponsored by afaik (look at the Esato donors)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Laffen contacted for sponsorship, but they weren't interested. This was back in the days when Esato almost ran out of money.

Unfortunately, ESATO is not connected in any way with other than being an SE-centric site.
You don't even see any SE ads here, and that would've helped the site a lot - finance-wise i mean.
OTOH, maybe it's nice that the situation is like this, that way, esato would have a reputation of being independent.
(I know for sure that some SE units somehow monitor this site. Probably the other manufacturers too.) |
