T68 blutooth auto mode and HBH-60 |

hi
I was trying to work with HBH-60 with the auto mode on the phone, because it drains less power from the battery, but on the incoming calls, if the headset is not on standby before the phone rings, i can't transfer the call...
no way to solve this?
thanks

Hi,
Automode on the T68 is a bit weird. I found that when automode was on I couldn't make a call from the HBH60, only answer. I ended up leaving bluetooth "on" all the time. Took my battery life from 7 days down to about 4 days standby.

I always had my T68/T68i set to bluetooth on all the time. I estimated it took about 20% more power but since I charge my phone every night while I sleep I didn't really care if I got 5 days battery life or 6!
I wouldn't be too worried about using ON all the time and indeed with the T610 they have removed the automatic function anyway.

well my T68i was fine with me for a year and my brother has had it for 6 months and he has no complaints so I doubt this is really a major issue. Anyway, they are dirt cheap these days if it does become a problem.

I don't think that Li-Ion batterys get a memory do they? This means you can charge the T68i as much as you like with no effect on staminer.

true...but it's said that a batery can be charged 500 times, but we all know (or should...), that when it reaches half of it, it's ready for the garbage can... |

yes, even lithium ion batteries have a limited number of crecharge cycles.

Very valid point. I allways seem to forget that fact. 500 charges and your out !! I'm lucky if my phone gets half that. New phone every year

By the way, do u guys know if the HBH-60's battery stops from being charged after being full, like the one on t68i does? |

When the HBH60 reaches full charge it stops charging and the light goes green.

ARE u really sure?...'cause my headset was still hot a few time after the green light came... |

Not 100% sure. Maybe it rapid charges untill the green light comes on then trickle charges after that. I wouldn't imagine it would harm the unit to leave it on charge for longer than it needs.
