Hi everybody,

I made a new iPod theme.

You can download it from my site.

oooh! sorry! way too purple and green for me! (although I do realise these are the pics from http://www.ipod.com/)

ipod is a very nice white frost colour and I think a themese for the ipod should be something similar.

I'm no artist but I know what I like!

@masseur

Did you see my iPod theme I posted a link to the other day.
I tried to make the menus look like the menu’s on the iPod.

I was looking for something on a wap page yesterday and found out that the colour scheme is really good for seeing what’s on the screen in sunlight

Thanks for putting the Z600 themes on your site. I'd been looking for those... How did you get them?

It’s nice to see it in a proper preview image, as I’m making them on a Mac I’ve got no software to make previews.

@dario27

What program are you using to package together the GIFs and XML files on your Mac?

I'm currently trying to make a theme creator for Mac...

To make the .tar file I’m using FreeTar, this is a GUI for CoCoa Zip

In FreeTar I set the compression to none, then change the file type with FileTyper.

Hope you have some luck making that Mac theme creator, when I was trying to figure out how to make themes I must have spent about an hour calling the xml file wml and I couldn't figure out why they didn't work

Then I accidentally made the highlight bar background white and the highlight text white, the phone won’t let you load themes like this even when you have a different coloured highlighbar image.

I initially had problems with FreeTar but I've just discovered the problem wasn't with FreeTar at all.

I made the .tar file then tried to rename it to .thm in the Mac OS X Desktop, but when I tried to Bluetooth transfer it to the phone an error popped up.

I eventually discovered that if I press Apple-I on the .tar file to Get Info, then changed the extension in the 'Name & Extension" section it worked ok (no need for FileTyper).

I plan on getting the Theme Previewer working before the Creator part (it's easier!), so if you PM me your e-mail address I'll send it when I've got something working...

Cheers!

Thanks for the Apple-I idea, that makes it a little easier

That Theme Previewer sounds good as well, I’ll send you my e-mail address.

Hi guys,

Why don't you email Tobias Lidskog? He made the theme util for the T68i... maybe you can try to help him with the T610 version.

This is his homepage:
