I have the t610 and a datacable.
My mobile phone monitor doesn't detect my phone and under the 'COM Ports' tab in mpm I have the option of COM1 & COM3 and they are both enabled and not reserved.
People say to download the wizard but I can't find it anywhere!
People also say to set & configure my COM port & I dont know how 2 do that!

Somebody please help!

Thanks.

The phone is detected ONLY when you run an application that specifically requests this. Have you tried doing that? One of these applications is Phone Settings and is included in the SE bundle. Run it and wait for your phone to be detected. Also, are you using a SE original data cable or a third-party one?

Then the cable may not be compatible with the T610 or you just need to adjust your settings. Is the cable serial or USB? Almost forgot: you can start the dial-up wizard from Phone Settings.

I had a simular problem with my software and the SE data cable, after installing everything 3 or 4 times I tried power-ing on the phone while in the charger/base and the phone was finally "seen".
(The dancing around afterwards need not be descibed here)
