Anyone care to suggest the best prepaid service for Singapore for a visitor who will primarily be receiving voice calls with some local and international outbound.

Interested in the best call rate as I gather that all carriers there have good coverage. One other, longish validity period would be a plus.

Thanks.

Thanks for that pointer on StarHub. Sounded like a good deal.

Do you know what's the cost of their starter pack? And would the StarHub stand at Changi Airport have them available?

Sorry I dunno the start up rate on pre-paid... I'm on two year contract. I doubt it's more than like SGD$20 though. I assume you can buy them at the airport. I'm going to be at Changi this friday morning and coming back on Monday night. I'll let you know if I see anything.

I didn't see any Starhub booth in the airport. But I didn't look very hard for one...

adept1: Thanks for remembering to check. IIRC, StarHub counters are in both terminals and provides the Wi-Fi access in the terminals. At least in the SQ terminal, they are just under SQ's SilverKris and First class lounges. I don't whether they sell Prepaid SIM cards there.
