I just did it...I may have voided the warranty..BIGGG DEEEALLLLL
I just got those keypad lights changed from orange to Hyper White...to match the screen and the white ligths underneath the color display...I tell you This..IT LOOK BAD ASS..WICKED......no problems noticed yet..and hopefully not..lol...but it was very simple..a 10 minute job....I didn't want to do the blue lights because it will be more noticeable that I did some aftermarket work on it...so I just decided to wait...get it flashed with the T68i software..then change it to blue lights...
how much did it cost?? it's only 4 lights... $20 bucks..with a discount I got because I go to that shop alot....
Peace..

Maybe you could post some pictures of how to change the lights on the T68... Also, can you tell us exactly what "lights" are used to make this mod?
Thanks! |

right now...I can't post any pictures...I don't have a camera with me....but it's the same exact lights they use for the nokia phones, 8200 series...as far as instructions..I personally didn't do it..I know a friend of mine who does it....and I am sure that where ever you live..there is somebody who change lights for the nokia..if they can do nokia lights..they can do ericsson.....I'll try to post some pictures soon...

ayserk56 - Are the lights actually white LEDs? Do they have to be soldered on or are they mounted on some sort of socket? |

KS...I know ...honestly, I am not worried..
The lights that come underneath the keypad are yellow/orange...and they need to be taken out..(soldered out) and I had some Hyper White (japanese) lights soldered in the same place the original lights were... here is an example from a nokia phone...
www.nokialight.com you'll see how the phones look with differnt light color...

Thanks for the link! It does look cool, but my T68 is brand new and I don't think I want to go play with it's innards just yet... |

i dont know about your place, but in Hong Kong, if you do any modification on the phone, not only does it void your warrenty, SE will also not upgrade your phone (at least not for free)... and since the MMS is not even out yet, I rather wait for my upgrade then do the lighting thing.... |
