I dropped my T68 yesterday on my way out to work, I checked it over quickly and all looked well. Later in the day I noticed the volume slider on the top left had gone. I re-traced my steps, but couldn't find it anywhere. I can still operate the volume if I use a pin or something like to operate it that way, but I desperately need a new slider/button. Anywhere in UK I can mailorder a replacement slider? It looks like it just clips in, so I should be ok fitting it myself. Any help much appreciated. If you guys know any websites where I could order this part, I would be extremely grateful if you could email me with the link. Thanks.

Hmmm, might be worth a try, I always found the volume slider to be a little on the loose side anyway!

Yeah, I tend to use it mainly for scrolling when WAPping to give the joystick a rest. It just seems a little flimsy.

Mine broke about 4 days after I got my T68m. I was listening to an mp3, and when I turned down the volume of a song, the button just stopped in down-position. It worked when I pushed it up, but just went back to the down-position. And so I could just make the volume higher, not lower at all with the volume-button!
It's fixed now, after ONLY 3 weeks. |
