Can't seem to connect to Singtel.

your trying to say you bought it in hk right? i supposed its locked to a provider there...
update:oh wait. its 6220. if you mean you can't use EDGE, its because there's no EDGE packet transmission network in Singapore. you should still be able to connect to a GSM network though.

Try calling Singtel & Nokia. It may have to do with your SIM card, since the 6220 is an E.D.G.E phone. I ain't too sure though.

Don't understand, thot could just config the GPRS settings, but couldn't connect..... sian....

i dun think singtel has the correct settings for the 6220 yet, as it doesnt have stock of that phone.
so i dun think your config will fit.

the funny thing is that the connection settings has a 'proxy' setting, which works if i'm trying to access the internet... but when disabled, there isn't an option for me to input the IP address 165.24.42.84...... strange.. |
