make sure the phone is recognised by the pc as being in range then select the file in windows explorer and right click and choose either send to a nearby computer if you have XP or send to an infrared something-or-other (can't remember exactly) for earlier windows versions.
nothing special required if your pc already has IR

if you are using XP:
- go to your phone, connectivity, turnn infra-red on and put it near the IR eye on the PC
- your IR is already active (in your BIOS settings) i presume because you used it with your previous phone, with new PCs you may have to activate this first at setup
- within seconds the PC should detect the phone and an icon pops up from the task bar saying 'click here to send files'
- also a temporary shortcut appears on the desktop, saying send files. either double click to open this or simply drag the file you want to send onto the shortcut icon
- further settings are accesible from control panel (classic view) > wireless link
Hope this helps
Oh and I haven't installed any software like you mention. |

The reason that you can't send games from the phone is simple; copyright laws. |
