Is there any Nokias that support themes? I was under the impression

funny thing is that this is the only feature that NOKIA still havent have copied. Usually nokia phones can only change background wallpapers at startup and color schemes. This is one advantage of SE mobile phones; you can personalized it to your own preference. But im sure Nokia would take steps to bridge this gap. One more thing is that the themes created by the program "THEME CREATOR" is not a software release by SE, rather it was made by other individuals utilizing the SE feature. |

Nokia doesn't use the same customizable UI like SE phones and this wont change so quickly.
Sony Ericsson doesn't make all the programs like Image Editor, MMS Home Studio. Other software companies develop them!
Ericsson actually did (or not?) develop a "Themes Creator" for T610. But how many users use the software? Not only that it doesn't look good, the software is not capable of making 100% compatible/working themes for T610, T616, T618 phones!
Who knows, maybe even my software "Theme Creator Pro" will someday be developed for SE and uses its logo, just like all the other programs mentioned above. SEMC and its SW Sourcing division already show interest for TCPro...

that would be good  ... imagine, it could even get shipped on the CD that comes with the phone (although everyone might be so busy making new themes from day 1 that they don't even discover Esato til much later...) |
