Hi, guys, is any one here planning to change the firmware inside theit T610 to a Chinese version (wotever simplified or traditional)?

Will it cost any damage to phone?

I am using a Vodafone Branded T610, and i really want to change it into Chinese. looks like firmware upgrade is the only way.

So, has anyone done anything like this?

thanx in advance

Hmmm... shame you don't have an unbranded Abyss Blue T610 because I have one that came from Singapore which has English and Chinese (simplified I think) and I would have been happy to swap.

Its not really a firmware úpgrade you are after (unless you actually have a an old firmware)... its a language pack change you need to ask for I believe. There are many threads here about changing language packs but I remembered this one that might be useful if you want to do it yourself (not that I advise that of course)
