Hi,

Personnaly, I don't use any additional software for IR transfert.

My laptop runs Win2K, as soon as I activate IR on my T68i, the laptop sees it as a computer and I have a new popup window where I can choose any file from my computer, then click 'send' et Voila ! This basically works just fine for pics, ringtones, themes.

Cheers

Same for me XP pro -> T68m via IR, I did try using the ericsson software but I had no luck so I just reverted to windows own file transfer programs.

BTW you guys using ir, how have you set it up in the bios (standard, hpsir..., dual etc) just want to make sure I have the most efficient set up

I just run it as it config. default.
Noticed that syncing with Outlook can be hard if the speed is set to high.

I've simply used the Win 98 transfer to send backgrounds and stuff, I've download some of the ericsson stuff that seems to work ok with MPM as well, MPM might not work with XP, heard there were problems with the infra red and XP.

I connect my t68 directly to the windows protocol... i tested it on win 98se , me , 2000, and xp
As my infrared divice is top of the rage soemtimes i have errors while transfaring images larger than 3k ... So as a solution you can lower the speed of the ir on the computer so then it'll work perfectly.
