Ericsson Service Location in US |

I was looking at the Ericsson FAQ and it says to convert my T68m to a T68i I need to go to a service location. There is a search on the UK site, but not the US site. Does anybody know where I would find one where I live?
Thank you,

hmm...I live in Houston....I called ericsson..they said that the latest software they have right now is R2B.....so I am sure that they don't have the T68i....
as far as I know...there is one in Florida..one in Dallas that you can take your phone in hand to get it updated with the new software...if not...just send it by mail....I sent mine once..it roughly took around 3 to 4 weeks..sucks...because the phone is not released in the US yet......

I know I wont be able to get it "converted" yet. The Sony Ericsson site said it will be available in week 20. I just want all the features of the other, more expensive model. |

T68 support in the U.S. is very new. Consequently, you can all kinds of bad information from an Ericsson USA service rep. I have been told by an Ericsson USA service rep that the only USA service point is in Minnesota. Irrespective of what they say on the phone, the have access to the latest and greatest "released" software from the Ericsson servers. Also because the T68 is new in the US, I was also told that any SW upgrade would take 3-4 weeks. Ouch!

there is ONLY ONE service center in the US. and it's not really a SE service center. SE uses a third party company called teleplan (formerly known as service partners) to do firmware flashing and servicing for their phones. the center is located in chanhasnen, MN
i've sent my phone there to get it flashed and it usually takes a week to get back, sometimes faster. i also had to get my t39 replaced and it took TWO freaking months. i was rather pissed at their service for that, but that was mainly SE's fault since teleplan was waiting for a new shipment of phones from sweden.
