well...I have a 8290 and I got the lights changed to blue..the lights for the keypad of the T68 looks very similar..so I was thinking if it is possible to change the lights that come originally to another color like White or Blue ..most likely white (hyper white) ... Anybody know about that??
Thanx..

then you must change the display as well, the keypad light is built into the display module... unless you open the display module, but I don't think that is such a good idea |

why?? it seems very simple just like the nokia...( i don't know if you're familiar with nokia light changing..I'm sure you do)...but all what I gotta do is remove the lights that come originally and solder the new white lights that are exactly the same size....what do you think?...it seems that I can even change the bluetooth lights from the blue to a hyper blue (japanese lights) which is much much brighter.....
thanx..

I know about the display light on Nokia, have changed on several Nokia phones... I haven't examined the display module on T68 any closer, but it's not as easy at it ís on Nokia phones... can check it tomorrow though, have some broken T68 displays I can break apart

you can't change the keypad light... the light comes, as in many other Ericsson phones, from a plastic film underneath the display. I'll see if I can get some pics on the display when it's taken apart... |
