R8A and T68i Joystick Counter |

Just wondering if anyone has noticed this with their T68i R8A firmware. My joystick counter seems to reset to 4,997 everytime I remove the batt from the phone. I tried using the joystick and moving it up to 5,000+ but whenever I remove the batt, it goes back to 4,997. I think this is the joystick count I had when I upgraded from R7 to R8. Went to a service center today and also found the same case with another T68i R8A.
Anyone else experiencing this? |

Yes, I've heard that it can be done though I would rather not risk it. My point is that the R8A fw may have a bug where it resets the joystick count- not all the way to zero but I guess to the count before it was upgraded. |

I turn the phone off but I don't think it matters because you will take out the batt anyway. Try it- get your joystick count, move your joystick, get the joystick count again. Whe you remove the batt and power the phone again, take the joystick count. You'll see that it is the original count that you started with. |
