If the phona is in a "bad reception area" it uses more power to communicate with the Net. Thats normal.

Yeah , I have the same problem too. At the first charge , the battery lasted in 10 hours. But the problem was that the backlight was open. In its second charge , with a heavy use , it has gone 2,5 days. Now in its third charge , I didn't use it too much and I'm in third day , still half battery life remains.
So , I think the battery is still a problem. I want to use my T68 with a long battery life.

After the full 16 hour charge when i bought it my battery last for ages. Ive not charged it for the past 4 days with a fair bit of use and its still got power....not a lot left but i'm happy with 4 days. My Sony J5 didnt even last a full day...

The service said me to charge it for 12 to 14 hours at the first time.

Its a bitch, the battery is gonna get worse, this happens to all rechargables. Even when you buy get a new one, the T68 battery ain't all it is cracked up to be.

On a brighter note a German firm has produced some prototype batteries for laptops that are based on methanol fuel cell technology, they've made the battery last from 2 hours to 20. They're planning on making mobile batteries as well.

These batteries are refilled not recharge so you can have a fully filled battery in seconds not hours.

The tech is not new, its been around for years, it has only just been miniturized to fit into laptops. The cost of these batteries will be slightly higher but batteries that last 10 times longer will definitely be worth it.
