What Can I do with my T610 using Bluetooth? |

Ok, this is not a new topic but we can sumarize all in this because the information is not easily abailable.
I have some questions and I need some expert an exhaustive answers about bluetooth.
- Can I browse the files of my PC from my T610?
Yes, and you can retrieve it if you set it in Bluemanager (v2.1 or higer)
- Can I browse the Images, Themes and Sounds of my T610 from my PC?
Yes, but you need blue manager v3 (With my device at least you need it "Energy System, bluetooth+128mb in one usb device"
This is my knowledge about this topic, now beging the questions.
- Can I manage my Organizer? what I need to do it? (both linux and Windows)
- Can I manage my Contacts? what I need to do it? (both linux and Windows)
- In general what information can I manage from my PC using Bluetooth (read and/or write) and I need to do it?
- Can I send (recive) SMS, EMS, MMS from my PC?
- Can I get the Java apps that are store in my T610 or send it to other phone or PC? If not why? (I think it is a good Idea for the next firmware relase)
- And what about mophun? It is legal that you can not backup software that you have paid for?
- Can I use my T610 as a web cam? or as a handset? Why not? It is physicaly (hardware) possible?
- Can I use bluetooth as a shortwave comunication, like walky-talkys, betwen two t610? I know is to short distance, but I and thinking in the future (what about a 100 bluetooth range phone for? or use a bluetooth acces point?).
And in general, what is possible? and what not? and why?
I think we together can help to fill all this questions or even more.

Yes. I do it all the time with iSync (Mac OS X) and GSM Remote to directly edit my SIM phone registers.

GSM Remote can send SMS. While FunSMS and other softwares can send and retrieve on the Palm PDA. I don't know about EMS and MMS as I haven't bothered to investigate.

Why do you want to use BT for something that already serves the purpose. Try 802.11b/g etc. Again, BT has an optimistic 10m range. I prefer to use my voice over that kind of distance.
The wheel is round. Don't try another geometry unless there's a good reason.  | |
