further to my questions last week about the different language possibilities for menus and T9...
i spoke with an ericsson representative here (in israel), who told me i can bring the phone to him to be updated to the newest software version (i'm assuming it's not the mms one yet). i asked about languages, and he said he can update it to whatever language pack i want--i can't choose individual languages, but i can choose whatever regional pack i want. for example, the one with hebrew on it also has english, french, russian, and arabic.
my question is this: do all (or some) these languages have text input in that language, as well as the possibility of displaying the menus in that language? for example, my phone now has the possibility of displaying menus in english or chinese, but text input is ONLY in english. same for my girlfriend's phone, but with 2 versions of indonesian (or something like that) instead of the chinese. so can anyone with any of the languages from the pack i will have installed tell me if you can input text in these languages as well (e.g. russian, arabic, hebrew), and if so, do they have a T9 dictionary available as well?
one last question: what other languages are available on the regional pack that has german?

summary of question:
in phones with russian/arabic/hebrew languages, can you actually INPUT text in these languages, or do you just get menus in these languages?
