Software to my T610 won't work! |

I have downloaded a lot of PC software, like Mobile Phone Monitor, the backup-program, PCControl, Sendfile and a few more but I can't get any of them to work. I can't do anything with them and I don't even know where to start!
I can't find any help or manuals either.
I know there probably is a very basic thing that I have missed but I don't know what...
I have Windows 98 and T610 and a Bluetooth adapter. (I can send files to the phone via the bluetooth program.)
Any suggestions? I did a search on this forum but that didn't help me either... |

Activate the correct COM port (the one used by the bluetooth serial port found in your phone services) in the Mobile Phone Monitor. Do another search, this has been answered many times.

None of the tips in those threads worked and the software is still not working.
I can't understand why there isn't a better guide or manuals to those programs or to the phone.
It shouldn't be this hard to get it to work.
I think I'll give up now!

@sadglad
I share yr sentiments - I got the softwares from SE working for about 2 days - the problems - cant see the phone - errors etc.
Even uninstalling the SE Comm Suite is a pain in the bal*s - had to go to the regedit route to clean out the crap left behind.
I would like to know which comm suite is best to use for people who refuse to sync to outlook.
A list of required prog would be nice and a step by step instructions which to instal.

Hmm.. have you created a serial port for the paired phone with the bluetooth software? And then Activated and booked that Serial (COM) port in the Settings for MobilePhoneMonitor?
It's a bit wierd that some people have huge problems with this. I've had no problems whatsoever. Just installed the stuff booked the Com-port and then made a few settings (what and how I wanted Outlook syncing) in XTNDConnect, and it worked flawlessly from the first time.
I have done it twice actually because of a win2k problem (not SE software related) abd I performed the installation again, and it worked flawlessly again.

Done everything that needed to be done - dont get me wrong I did manage to get it running - probably 5 times max then errors.
PBTM wont even see any numbers in both my phone and sim memory tho it syncs just fine and the storage does 'show' the numbers via the bar in yellow but no numbers appear. |

This thread is redundant. Please be patient, and try search again. |
