EU2 language on US sourced AT&T T68i ?? |

Recently bought USA T68i (AT&T phone - I prefer case colour).
Seller said phone is latest firmware + lang pack of my choice.
So i asked for EU2 ( en/fr/de/it ) since i'm in the UK.
Phone arrived with R8A015 but US2 lang pack ( us-en/lat-es/br-pt )
Seller says impossible to load EU2 on AT&T phone.
Not sure i believe this - surely just different flash files.
I think more likely he forgot to use EU2 pack.
The more i search around, the more i think i'm right.
So, thought i'd just ask and see what the truth is
For info, here's detail from SW info menu on the phone.

So, any reason why it's impossible to have EU2 on this phone ??

the upgrading system is probably blocking the possibility to change language version...  has done this on some language version so they can't have any other language version then the one it has when it arrives from factory. |

Thanks Cytech - i'd kind of thought of that.
But can't imagine he's using any official flashing method
Maybe i'll ask local service centre to put latest flash files on....
As i'm in uk, assume i'd get latest eu2 version anyway.
AT&T branded phone couldn't block that could it ??
