He is talking about the operator name that's visible when the phone is in "standby". On Nokias, it's possible to remove this text. |

I know that you can download a "blank" logo mate, have seen it on some WAP sites for free logos, but I suspect that all it will mean is that you will end up with a white square in your screen instead of anything else.
I had seomthing similar on the gf's 5100 a few weeks back and the above is what happened. |

I think this only works on Nokias.
I may be wrong.

Yes its a good idea but unless the background is a different colour at the bottom you will also loose the time and date

You can specify a different color for the Time and Date. But be careful when creating themes, must not use the same color for the backgound or it will have an error and you wont be able to load it. Use a color slightly different from the one used the background. A little change of letters in the hex value of the color wont hurt

that too could be solved, use a background pic instead of colour that way you can set the colour to whatever (lime gereen any1) and have the operator name/time date a colour, ill try and post a pic here in abit.

My problem is that I'm with vodafone and the logo appears in two lines on my display. It shows vodafone HU, then in the next line vodafone. That ruins a lot of themes. Can anyone help to disappear at least one line?

As you say it ruins a lot of themes, I take it as if it's the background picture of the theme it ruins. If you want a background picture (other than just one colour) I'm afraid it's not possible . |
