Siyet!!! every site is blocked by globe except their own wap site?
that stinks man!! i hate globe!! does anyone else know anything about this?

I agree w/ slyfox. I even tried d APN w/ pay, no deal in accessing sites. But l've read in another forum that Globe will start charging w/ a rate of 10 cents per Kb. Hmm... seems better than 25 cents per Kb, and ok than free of charge but no access. For now I'm using CSD to access this site. Free for the 1st minute pero nakakabitin minsan. Sheesh... Btw, the forum that l'm saying is: http://wap.twilightwap.com/forums/tz_oku2.asp?forum=wap Pls note this is a wap site.

@miss uk, that is what i did. Since they blocked esato three months ago, i decided to switch to another provider. Well, some of us here did that too.

@619: Awhile ago I tried that APN. But it just doing nothing. I like to test it again but now no gprs signal naman. DANG! I wonder what Globe is doing right now on their system? Hmm... At 1st i thought they got hit by those new virus. My mistake. Darn!

Ive been a globe plan user for over 3 years now, at the start it was ok but as time passes by they're just giving me a headache, until they introduced the free gprs which outstands smart and other netrworks and as for me, it was just like a consolation price and now these crazy people are putting it out!!!!!!!!! If that would be the case, and if they could'nt just "a little bit improve" their poor service, I will not think twice to terminate my account and subscribe to other network. Their loss and not mine! |

Its true that globe was able to block some sites before but there were a lot of sites that escaped the blacklist.Now they managed to firewall everything not included in myGlobe. You can still reach CNN and ABSCBN but my favorite wap site Yahoo which i used for news and email is now gone. |
