Hello,

When i'm on my room working on my pc i always use headphones and my mike is in my monitor, is it possible to use these two as a headset for my T610? because when im working it is very irritating if i have to hold my phone in one hand. I can also pick up on my pc with FMA. I use a belkin dongle. I'm a little bit newb in stuff so try to explain things clearly

Ta.

Yes it's possible,

I use a Sitecom USB Bluetooth Dongle (CN-500), it comes with software for Audio Gateway. When the phone rings I get a message on my screen and I use my laptop Mic and Speakers to talk.

Hi all, hope someone can help me with this or tell me which thread it's in cos I can't actually find it but i have the OPPOSITE problem...

When people call my T68i, my laptop picks up the call and routes it thru the PC speakers and mic. I do not want this!!

It freaks me out, i'm just sitting there on the computer and all of a sudden someone is talking to me!

I'm running XP pro on a Dell Inspiron 8500 w built-in bluetooth. Everything was pre-installed so i never needed to use drivers or anything - I only ever did the pairing. I have un-paired, and re-paired, hoping that some option to select which services will appear, but to no avail...

I go to My Bluetooth Places, and can disable the 'audio gateway' but that isn't sufficient. I can select the T68i in the paired devices, but it's properties do not appear to allow the disabling of any services.

The good news is that my other paired devices (T610 and Dell Axim PDA) do not misbehave in this manner - the laptop never answers calls from the T610, and the PDA never tries to answer either phone. So I guess the settings which need to be altered are on the PC...

Any ideas anyone? TIA!!

OK, I managed to solve it myself... it's not the 'audio gateway'...

For anyone else who may have this problem in future it is the 'headset' setting you need to change in xp:

start > programs > my places > view my places (in left pane) > headset (right click)

That wasn't so hard!
happydance

General advice- get stuck, go watch hollyoaks, come back, everything is clear.
