the clock also stops static pictures from burning your screen.
cause if it stays on one pic for too long the screen's heat can actually burn a image on ur screen...... |

I dont think LCD screens suffer from screen burn.
I'm pretty sure the only reason the clock is there is to increase battery life.

Why don't they make the time-out to minute or so
And why Nokia has a menu to turn it off and the screen don't burn when it is off :\ |

Like chrisgreen82 said, it's not a screen saver, it's a power saver. LCD screens do not burn
