I know this has probably been posted b4 but i don't have the time 2 read all of the posts the search came out with.

I really want a cable to connect my SE T300 to my pc. I don't want to use IR. Is a serial cable better than a USB?? I know the USB is faster but i have never seen drivers of software for them. Are they both compatable. I don't want 2 pay offical SE prices so i was just goin 2 buy a one of ebay or something (i know this is a bad idea!).

I would prob be used 4 sync, transfering pics, themes, screensavers.

Any ideas??

hey pal,
forget the cable. If you buy it 90% you will regret it. get an IrDA adaptor. I had a USB cable and after 2 days I exchanged it with an IrDA dongle.

Ir cost about €20 in my country. the drivers are with the adapter, but for newer windows like xp you don't need drivers.
