Just read it to - and I find it really strange that they dont "know" better - If its true, that both phones are identical inside, and weve seen the whitepaper so!

Friends,
Here we go again, I beleive the product manager at SEM did say that the memmory has the same size but it apears larger due to different file management system. I guess the speed thing is just a question about changing priorities to diffrent parallel processes in the phone.
Anyway we will no for sure as soon as the t68m to t68i flash presents itself on EMMA.
Cheers! |

Hi wapmanse!
I know that PerAlksten said it several times, but I finds it really lousy from mobil to write that they have diffrent amount of memory!

Tomorrow the waiting IS OVER. At arround 12:00 I'll be getting my spanking new T68i from Denmark. I'll be doing nothing then stroking my new phone all day...
Do you people realise how stupid we all really are? It's just a phone, albeit a very VERY nice phone, but still, it IS only a phone. Go outside, meet some girls, don't stay home spanking your phone....

Okay I try again...
@ mrNoodles, yes I agree with you seems to be very bad research, wonder how the "test" will look like?
I think the excitement about the upgrade is the fact that all of us who have a t68m will be able to get a completely new phone as regards to functionality just by changing the program. I do not think that this has happened before in mobile phone history. Of course when we have the new program we will start waiting for the next upgrade...whatever that may bring..

Hi wapmanse
As DanielLindholm-Geab said, its common to upgrade the SW in phones, but is ist really that common with other brands then ? Dont think so!
And not a SW upgrade that change the phone you bought to what you really paid for!

I'm really pissed off, my friend's gone over to Belgium and I gave him the money to buy the T68i and it must be the only country where you can't get it .... Driving me crazy!! I'm doing everything i can from Azerbaijan ONLINE to find a way to get it to him before Saturday....

Hi! I just read the article. It dosn't say that the memory IS bigger, but that it seems bigger even though we know it's the same. This is cut directly from the article.
Bland annat känns det som om minnet utökas vilket gör att det inte blir segt när du ska vandra i menyerna. Nu vet vi ju att det är samma minneskapacitet i nya T68i som i den gamla, men segheten har i alla fall försvunnit.

I was in Brussels 3 weeks ago and entered the Ericsson shop (which is also a service point) in a small shopping center very close to the famous city center square. I asked for the upgrade and of course they did not have it but they expected it "any week". The guy in the sp said they expected t68i to arrive in the next couple of days so they should be availble there now. Otherwise i suggest that you mail the SE service center (from the web site) and explain the situation for them. They migth just surprise you..anyway best of luck to you..
