is hotmail an imap , what is imap???? |

i've read that the T68i supports POP3, IMAP ... not like the T68 that supports only the T68...does that mean that I can check my hotmail account from the phone finally???? |

Hotmail is a web-based email service and does not support POP3/SMTP/IMAP protocols.
IMAP is a protocol, which is used to retrieve email from an email server. |

Hotmail does not use IMAP - it is a webmail provider. This link explains what IMAP is:

so what kind of emails I can check through IMAP....I know I can check yahoo...forget hotmail....what else? what's my options to use the email feature in the T68 or the T68i's.... |

With the T68m, any email server that supports POP3. With the T68i, any email server that supports POP3 and/or IMAP4. My company mail server uses both POP3 and IMAP4, as an example. |
