Bought a data cable today, but the pc can't detect my phone.
Any suggestions on what's wrong?
I have installed XTNDConnect PC for Ericsson and Mobile Telephone Manager, but still nothing happens...
Do I need to do anything with my phone?
My software v. is R1B, does this matter?

If it is not original Ericsson DRS-10 or DRS-11, it may not work. |

What version of Windows are you using ?
Windows95 for instance is hopeless, 98 better, ME not bad, 2000 Good, XP amazing for USB connection & detection. |

Using DRS-10 with Ericsson T68 R1B on Windows 98.
I know the COM-port is working, and I have activated it through the "Mobile Telephone Monitor Properties" in the Control Panel.
Maybe the cable is not working at all???

Not true I've found, I'm using Mobile Action's MA-8910C cable which I bought today and it works a treat on Ericssons own software.

When u go to install Mobile Phone Monitor I'm sure that somewhere it says u have to uninstall XTNDConnect PC. U might wanna check that but it might be worth a try. |
