got into a mess with Mobile Phone Monitor! |

Had everything working perfectly ok, but then stopped for no reason. Ah well I thought, I'll uninstall and put it back again the way i did the first time.
Now even when i uninstall MPM it still has an icon in Control Panel, and when i install I can see no way to get it to redetect my phone!
My setup is T68i, MSI bluetooth USB Dongle and WinXP
Anyone know of a procedure to get rid off ALL the bluetooth and mobile phone stuff completely? Im guessing its some remnant files somewhere thats stopping things.
My MSI software works fine, syncs ok, but i want the option of downloading Text messages also and all the software that provides that seems to need MPM.
Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

Have you tried running "anubisuninst.exe /U" found (probably) in your "C:\Program Files\Ericsson\Communications Suite\Mobile Phone Monitor"

un-install all SE software...
reboot and then remove "sony ericsson" folder and contents in program files directory
re-install software (latest versions obviously)
everytin should work fine now.....

...and if you want get rid of absolutly everything, you can go into registery, and remove "Ericsson" and "Sony Ericsson" keys from the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Sofware...
The standart "Don't mess with registery unless you know what you are doing, or you may cause data loss" warning applies.

realised that "floats mobile agent" will function perfectly well without MPM, so am saving the inevitable fight to the death with MPM for a rainy day |
