Hi,

Can someone answer a very quick question please? My mate wants to swap his 3510i for my Sammy T100. I know the 3510i doesn't have IR or BT but can you use a datacable to transmit games to the phone rather than downloading them via wap? Basically I have Nokia game files and would liketo send them to the phone.

I have been using my 3510i with a data cable for some time now with the MobiMB browser software which allows you to view the gallery folders of the phone and drag + drop in ring tones, wallpapers & games etc, it works very well. The cable sits underneath the battery and connects to some of the 6 contact points visible throught the retangular hole there. The battery sits at an angle in a bracket which forms part of the cable allowing it to still power the phone, it looks a bit odd but works well. You obviously have to open up the phone each time you want to load anything but if you regularly want to swap the files on your phone this is a small price to pay for the flexibility that a cable brings.

In the UK cables are around GBP 12.- but are often discounted if you buy them with software.

Also there is a free to download trial version of MobiMB with some features disabled - not sure which ones.

Good luck.

Bo
