T68I UK - Thursday |

According to: http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=T68I
they'll be getting stocks of the T68I this Thursday. Which means 2 things; firstly, service centres should presumably have the latest update available, for people whose software on the T68I becomes faulty or something... and secondly, Ericsson can't have any excuses for delaying the MMS update, when they've launched the phone in the UK despite a lack of network support.

No no, the SW doesnt work on T68m.
The T68m has to be flashed with some kind of "m -> i" SW first, then it should be able to work with the T68i SW
(from what Ive learned here )

@MrNoodles....
correct kind of same thing as when you upgrade a R380s to the same software as in R380e... you run a special "R380s -> R380e" upgrade.... |

Ive never had an opportunity to do that
But I understand what you are talking about, kind of an "PRI" as we used to speak about on Ericsson AB

Carphone Warehouse In the UK have released news on the 1st April that the T68i will be available in the UK market from 1st May 2002 and have printed in their Consumer catalouge that all CURRENT T68m users will recieve a FREE OF CHARGE UPGRADE TO FULL T68i FUNCTIONALITY. (Their words not mine).
Thats should put to rest any rumours on the forum about will we / won't we get an upgrade and the extent of the upgrade.
Any T68m users wanting T68i covers can also get this changed, although at a nominal charge.

yeah,
T68m: 285J excl. VAT
T68i: 350J excl. VAT
Quite a big difference.....well, bigger than I expected...maybe the price will go down....
Anyway,why is the gold more expensive???? It's not anywhere else??? Look at the price compared to the grey one though....

At least in Spain is kind of rare the gold,you donīt find one easy, so it depends of the country but gold is usually rare than grey, I am happy cause I have one and I love it |
