I can't transfer picture and ring tones from my phone to my laptop through IR. But I can transfer pictures/ ring tones from my PC to my phone. What do you think is the problem. I am hoping for your correspondence. Thank you very much |

There's no problem with transferring files from my pc to my phone. The problem was transferring files from phone to my pc via IR. |

do you get error messages? or is your computer set to just accept new files automaticall? check your IR settings, and check the default folder where all items accepted via IR are stored |

no no no. what i meant was, when you're sending a file to your pc from your phone, ypur pc will ask you if you want to accept it. if it doesnt ask you that, then it is just automaticly accepting them. just run a search for the files on your puter to see where they're all going.

if you want to know where your images will go there is no need to search for them.
goto control panel and click wireless link (in XP, cant recall what previous windows versions called this). Click on the "image transfer" tab and you will see where they are going. If there is nothing set in there then they will be going to the desktop.
You can also see this information if you click the IR icon in the system tray (near the time in the bottom right hand side).
