Loadspeaker when talking? |

When the T610 is ringing, the phone is playing the polyphonic ringtones. Which is MIDI-files. And what you hear is coming from a loadspeaker. Nokia phones has the function that you can use the phone on the table and still hear the person you talk to. So it must be a software thing that does that? Am I wrong? |

Probably a software thing, though the speaker may not be able to handle it?

The Speakerphone feature is the only thing my old R520m got that my new T610 don't. But I have only used that function seriously 2-3 times...
First, when I heard the polyphonic sound from the speaker I thougt there was a Speakerphone feature but there wasn't.
However, I don't think SE will enable speakerphone thru sw-update because T610 doesn't have a "ear-detector".
R520m has a detector that immitetly turns speakerphone mode of if ju put something (like your ear) in the area around the speaker so you don't damage your ear if you like to do a private conversation. |

Still it would be nice if the phone has it too. Maybe SE want us to use their bluetooth handset? What a marketing campaign! I mean...... it sucks....
